KernelCare patches vulnerabilities on Arm-based devices while they are running and without a reboot.
KernelCare live patching keeps the Linux systems you run on Arm-based machines protected against the latest vulnerabilities. This is done without downtime, reboots, or service interruption.
KernelCare in action
KernelCare binary-patches the Linux kernel as a binary in memory. There is no need to update system libraries or packages to keep in step with kernel changes. This is not the case when using traditional Linux update tools such as yum and apt-get.
KernelCare supports 64-bit Arm Cortex, Neoverse, SecurCore, and the next generation of AWS EC2 Graviton2 instances. KernelCare also supports Arm-based processors commonly used in IoT, such as NXP, allowing users to apply security patches to the running Arm-based machines automatically, and without downtime.
Available for Distributions
Works with Amazon Linux 2, Ubuntu, Raspberry Pi OS, Debian, Ubuntu Core, Yocto Project and more than 15 other Linux distributions. Custom kernel patching is also available for qualifying enterprises.
Enterprise proof of concept (POC)
To tailor live patching for specific enterprise infrastructure, KernelCare provides a free proof-of-concept for any type of business operating on Arm-based machines.
