Nubix provides tiny containers and tiny services that run on the tiniest Arm-based microprocessors. This enables developers to easily process data on the sensor device where the data is created.
Nubix makes it possible to develop and deploy IoT applications on edge devices, from tiny microcontrollers to gateways, collecting and processing sensor data and communicating up to the cloud, all while taking advantage of Arm capabilities without using C or C++.

Nubix eliminates the need for proprietary, vendor-specific C and C++ libraries allowing developers to work with open source languages and libraries. The open source approach facilitates code and project migration across a variety of Arm devices and gateways.
Easy and low-risk deployment
Nubix makes it easier to issue Over-The-Air (OTA) updates using containers. This allows developers to update application logic independent of the underlying Linux OS and firmware. OTA updates can be applied across a variety of architectures and platforms, including Arm.
Analytics, sensors, and data management
Nubix encapsulates a variety of reusable services:
- Access to common buses for sensor communication such as I2C, Modbus, and more.
- Ability to connect to cloud-based databases that support both SQL and Time-Series.
- Built-in libraries for local caching, coalescing, and store-and-forward switching.
